What is a domain name?

A domain name is an easy address system used to locate a resource on the internet.

You need to do the following for you to have a successfull domain name presence:

  • Purchase a domain name
  • Purchase a hosting account
  • Point the domain name to your hosting account (See: Domain deligation)
